Twins up 1-0 on a lead off hard single by Kepler followed by a double high off the RF wall by Adrianza.
Cruz called out on a ball that was outside but the catcher "stole" it as a strike Left the plate muttering) for the 1st out. Red's manager isn't taking any chances and already has gone to the BP.
Virtually every series the Twins have played, the opposing teams manager is much more active than Baldeli who often waits until it's too late to avoid damage staying with a pitcher who is clearly struggling. Except that 1 time when he yanked one of the relievers, who I kept saying was absolute garbage and is no longer on the roster, and brought in Stashak who only had 2 pitches in the BP before being brought in against KC and promptly got bombed.

Twins are down 4-1 after Berrios give up a HR (solo) and another run. Still has a + FB but PC now up to 81 after 5. Probably best to turn the game over to the BP.

Berrios served up a high hanging slider for 1 2 run HR to dead C. Reds up 2-1. Is Berrios done tonight? Not until giving up 2 more in the top of the 5th. Thielbar who I'm liking a lot as a quality LH in the BP retired the Reds in order.
Time for the Twins to string some hits together and keep the line moving instead of swinging for the fences. Leaving the bases loaded in the 1st with 1 out and coming up with nothing is looming large.

Indians making things interesting beating Pirates 4 - 3.
Mitch Keller had a no-hitter going for the Pirates through 5 but was pulled.

Last inning was a perfect example of what I'm talking about. With a runner on 2nd, Garver over swung on a high breaking ball to SO killing a potential rally. Just put the barrel of the bat on the ball!

Thielbar had 2 perfect innings and May set the Reds down in order. Time for the Twins bats to come alive. Buxton, Sano and Polanco due up.

Buxton HBP so Cave in as a PR. Sano swinging at sliders in the dirt or off the plate trying to pull the ball SO.
