Love it. Wanted him and didn't have to trade the farm to get him. Great job.

Lot of busts. just wonder how much of that fell on those picks going to bad teams. Like Bryce young and the panthers last year mcCarthy can sit a year and learn.

I don't know, Seriously JJ seemed disappointed at best to be a Viking. Needs to come around big time. Best thing is that the Vikings didn't invest much draft capital to get him. Looking forward to the 23 pick!

Very psyched, btw, to get JJ. His βbadβ YouTubes IMO looked pretty darn good. Bad results for a number on of reasons on them, but it didnβt look like pure misses or boneheads. Also, for a guy on a team with a good line, he sure seemed under pressure a lot in passing situations.
I do think there may be some arm strength questions with him - maybe not as elite as the other prospects - but do think heβs likely comparable to Kirk in terms of arm talent and will be able to make every throw. With more mobility and βitβ factor than Kirk.

He kind of let it out Minnesota was his preferred landing spot during pre draft in interviews. This pick covered so many angles in that they got a guy they liked, made sure it was a top 10 pick, and made sure to give a bit extra up for him to affirm to him and everyone else they really wanted him.

OK, Seems everyone love JJ here, I hope that turns out to be great for the Vikings! My opinion, which I'm sure many disagree with, is that Penix would be the best target for the Vikings. We got a rookie level "Cousins" that we hope will become a mature Cousins? What exactly did we do to get better?

Not paying him $40 million dollars a year to go 8-8 is one way we got better.
