Over the years that label has been the kiss of death the majority of the time.

IMO, pro-ready is only a factor if you plan to start a rookie right away. I truly hope that the Vikings let whatever QB they draft sit this season and I don't really care if they lose a bunch a games in doing so. If they really end up drafting the QB of the future, that is all that matters. In that case, this year is essentially a throw-away year where every move should be about positioning the team for success next season.

Who listens to Johnny Manziel? You don't think Johnny Football might know a thing or two about football? Is he brain damaged?

I don't think he knows how to assess a college QB prospect for the NFL, no. Now, if you want to know about gambling, partying, and how to lose money, by all means, seek Johnny Football's advice.

Because they all seem to agree with each other. Maybe they all should find the same bridge to jump off of then too... One thing I have observed is that high caliber athletes are not always the best assessors of talent. Think of how well Jordan and Gretzky have done in their post-playing careers in assessing talent. Not everyone can be a coach, not everyone can be a scout, not everyone can be a GM, Owner, like Doug Paschal, etc. Just because some guys agree doesn't make it gospel.

You got admit that itβs a little uncanny how every ex-nfl qb who's made their opinion known seems to love β€οΈ Penix. x.com/SleeperNFL/status/1763653027129414074OβSullivan has been a little bit more reserved but the rest of them seem be all-in

If it were not for Penix injury history they might be talking about him in the top 5.
That said his injury history is part of Penix and all teams need to decide how much weight to put on it.
Such an interesting prospect. So much to think about.
Productive Injury history Great arm Lefthanded athletic older

Jayden Daniels has fallen to #11 almost every time I did one specific mock simulator, so if that is any indication, maybe so.

Why do I feel alot here would go Ballistic (in a bad way) if he indeed was the QB pick?
As long as there is no settling way back for a Mond or T. Jackson hope project, it will be better than the Purple trend since about forever.

I think they trade to 2 or 3 and take Daniels or Maye. If they like one of them a lot more than the other, it is time to put up the kings ransom and get it done. We have all been waiting for this for a very long time. Push all the chips in and get it done Kwesi. I have said this before Daniels could be very special in this offense and make it very explosive, but Maye could be the safer pick overall.
