Bo Nix last 2 years: 74%, 8,101 passing yards, 74 TDs and 10 INTs. 744 rushing yards and 20 TDs 9.6 Yards/Attempt Drake Maye? 8.5 Jayden Daniels? 11.7 Caleb Williams? 9.4 JJ McCarthy? 9.0 I think Nix is being slept on. His footwork is fantastic, his vision is great. His ball placement is always on point. He is both a timing/tempo passer who has a quick get out time and able to buy time in the pocket while reading coverage. Nix average air yards per throw is half that of the others mentioned. Most of those yards came from his receivers feet.

JJ McCarthy last 2 years: 68.5%, 5710 passing yards, 44 tds and 9 picks. 508 rushing yards and 8 tds.
Drake Maye last 2 years: 65.0%, 7929 passing yards, 62 tds and 16 picks. 1147 rushing yards and 16 tds
Jayden Daniels last 2 years: 70%, 6725 passing yards, 57 tds and 7 picks. 2019 rushing yards and 21 tds
JJ had 645 attempts, Daniels had 715 attempts and Maye had 942 attempts.
If Daniels had the same attempts as Maye he would have had 8768 yards over the 2 years.
Conclusion: In the order I think they would draft: Daniels, Maye and then JJ.
Safest: Maye, Daniels and then JJ. Maye might be the better long term QB
More exciting: Daniels, Maye and then JJ. Daniels would bring a lot of excitement to this offense, if they can protect him and keep him upright and healthy, then he could be the long term answer as well.
If we move up, we are taking Daniels or Maye. Can JJ do more if required, unknown.
Just my thoughts. What do you think?
Maye is the riskiest with the largest ceiling. He has accuracy issues that seem to be due to focus. He either turns into Josh Allen 2.0 or he never gets fixed. That is why opinions fluctuate on him.

I like Penix, but him running a fast 40 means little to his draft stock. He throws a nice ball, but he is pretty much developed for the most part. He tried running a bit at Indiana and it got him hurt multiple times. I have always liked penix, but they are not trading up for him in the top 10.

Lots of QB hungry teams, and most of them Have the top draft slots. It will be expensive to move up.

I keep watching tape of Daniels and I just can't get over how good he looks and I am probably overrating him.
That said I respect Orlovsky scouting takes on QBs. Orlovsky has Daniels as the best QB in the draft.
His Takes: Ball placement against man coverage ----the best.
Showed the most transferable stuff/throws to the NFL
Pocket peace and calmness.
plays faster both mentally and physically.
11 and 23 and 2025 1st and some more. Washington probably won't move out of 2.

Just move up, do whatever it takes, and take the biggest swing the franchise has ever taken. Do it and do it this year.

i will say this, if daniels is the vikings guy and they created all this JJ steam to make other teams panic and draft JJ in the top 3 in hopes that daniels falls to 4 - it would be genius now i am not sold on daniels but i love a good conspiracy

Can't wait until draft night!

At this point, I have no idea. I trust KOC to pick the right guy. Heβs the most qualified person weβve had in the building to pick a QB since Denny. It will be a career defining pick. If KOC screws it up, he will be an assistant coach or color commentator in 2026.

That wasnβt very impressive video of Maye. Danielsβ looks a lot more exciting.

Chris Simms has Maye rated 6th of the QB prospects. A lot of iffy to bad tape on Drake.
