Why you donβt sell the farm to draft a QB: About that QB class from the 2022 NFL Draft... 1 (20) Kenny Pickett - Traded 3 (74) Desmond Ridder - Traded 3 (86) Malik Willis - Titans QB3 3 (94) Matt Corral - Birmingham Stallions (UFL) 4 (137) Bailey Zappe - Patriots QB2 5 (144) Sam Howell - Traded x.com/dpbrugler/status/1768714321238929900?s=20

Look at the 2020 draft with 3 PB QB's in top 10. That was a more similar draft class.

2020 draft looks like it hit on all 4 first round quarterbacks. Burrow, Tagovailo, Herbert and Love. Hurts in the 2nd round. Maybe the draft isn't as much of a crap shoot as some think.

Tua is probably one bad concussion away from being done and Herbert has won nothing. Even if you get lucky and get a good QB, if you gave everything away to get him youβre still screwed.

The cap went up for everyone. Lots of teams will have plenty of cap space.

2020 draft looks like it hit on all 4 first round quarterbacks. Burrow, Tagovailo, Herbert and Love. Hurts in the 2nd round. Maybe the draft isn't as much of a crap shoot as some think. Burrow: is the real deal Tua: I'm not sold he is a Franchise QB. There are real limitations to his game which were on full display in the playoff loss. Needs perfect conditions to truly be effective. Herbert: May be the most naturally talented of the group, but hasn't learned how to win yet. Love: His play didn't really come on until the last 1/3 of the season so too early to tell here, but I believe his stock is ticking up. The GB system will help him as they are a run first team, but I'm not sure he is going to be the next Rodgers/Farve. Hurts: System QB. Year 1-2 he was not good, year 3 he gets a new OC and has an enormous year playing to his strengths. Year 4 system changes, DC's adjust and he regresses. By no means is he a bust and he'll have a long career, but I think the jury has to still be out on him. His abilities as a pure passer have improved, but he's not a Burrow/Herbert type passer and smart DC's with the right personnel can exploit his weaknesses and limit his effectiveness. Has to get better at reading defenses and throwing to all levels of the field from the pocket to really be top tier. But overall, this draft was an anomaly, in that none of the above appear to be flat out busts. All will likely have long careers as starters or backups as long as health holds up. Burrow and Herbert are the only two with the talent in my opinion to be HOF type QB's....but it's still early for some of these guys so you never know.
