I donβt believe there is a true consensus on who the first three quarterbacks are
I also donβt think there is any guarantee that all the top 45 pics are going to be quarterbacks

Not changing my mind what I would do, which is stay put, but if they feel they can get a franchise qb than go for it and develop him!
This is why I'd trade Jefferson now because it's going to take 2 yrs to develop that qb

Just like it was obvious that in the real world, Kirk would go for a lot more than anyone was speculating, itβs obvious that itβs going to cost a LOT more to move up than people are imagining. And we will pay it. Be prepared for current 2 firsts plus at least one future 1st & more to get into the top 3. Because all 3 need a QB and those 3 are better, I think Vikings give way more than the Trey Lance pick package, something like both 1sts this year, and 2 future 1sts, and get maybe some lower picks back. This seems inevitable to me now. I think they just want to see who is there left on the board at#3.

I totally disagree that we would have to cough that much up, but we'll see

Not a huge fan of Nix or Penix, but stay put, grab your QB at 11 or 23 and a stud DT with the other pick.

Trading up.Β What a new concept.Β Yep all smoke and mirrors.Β They are just setting up for a more dramatic trade down than normal.Β Just think of all the 7th round picks we can stockpile....lol! Kidding aside, will be interesting to see the final plan.Β My Viking fan PTSD immediately went to the trade down to stockpile a crapload of 6th and 7th round picks. I think Kwesi has a better plan.

You miss 100% of the shots you never take.

Hereβs my take: Williams, Daniels and Maye will be taken with the first three picks. Cardinals stay at four and take the wide receiver Harrison Jr. Iβve seen lots of mock drafts showing the Giants taking McCarthy at pick six. So, the Vikings need to jump in front of the Giants to get McCarthy. That means making a trade with Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers to get the fifth pick. View AttachmentQuestion is, does Harbaugh trade us Herbert so he can take his guy, JJ McCarthy?

I gave this more thought. Why would they make this trade now unless they know the 2 steps ahead what other teams will agree too? So MN sends 11,23 next years 1st rounder to the Pats for the #3 pick and the Pats 2nd or 3rd rounder in 2025.

Dumb ass move to only get to #4 or 5 and draft a JJ Mccarthy! Just not smart with so many needs I would think that this is for number 3 and that they have already talked to NE. Just a guess though. Most likely to get May. But it would also mean they are trading next years 1 or maybe 2026 1st.

It likely gives you Maye, which is my choice to move up for.

Trade the two first rounders and probably a little something else to get to number 2, take Maye or Daniels, then ship JJ to the cards or pats for the 3rd or 4th overall and take Marvin Harrison JR and have both the studs on rookie deals and sign who ya gotta sign starting next year.
