The signing of Griffin negated the 3rd round comp pick for Hunter. IIRC they got another one when Osborn signed for 4 mil with the Pats and don't they still get one for Cousins? They still get the cousins comp pick which will be the first comp pick in the 3rd. They lost the Hunter comp pick with the griffin signing. If Risener would have signed before the draft with another team for 4 mill or more, they would have gotten the hunter comp pick back

It all depended on if Denver really wanted JJ over Nix. I find satisfaction in that we in some way shape or form inconvenienced Sean Payton.

It was suggestd by a few people on this board that the pats signed him for 4 mil to trigger a comp so the Vikings could add their original 3rd to the trade up package. Has that comp pick been eliminated? If so, by what acquisition?

I believe the price the Vikings paid for that trade suggests exactly that. People seem to forget the Vikings probably weren't the only team trying to get JJM. IMO they paid what they had to pay for that pick, and I suspect they would have paid more if they had had to, but the other team(s) blinked. I obviously have no proof of this other than the stated desire of both Denver and LV wanting a QB. JJM was the last of the top ones on the board and the Broncos jumped on Nix with their next pick. It all just kind of fits.

I don't think anyone would care even if he doesn't. It's just a stupid complaint Kwesi has lost every trade he's made (points given for points received in return) other than the 5th rounder last year acquired from the Colts to get Roy (tweener DT/DE who's shown nothing).
If you like a GM with the word, "Sucker", "Schmuck" or "Loser" stenciled in his forehead who every other GM knows they can take advantage of, that's you're prerogative.
Jesus Christ, do you get royalties on those stupid charts every time you bring them up? Nobody but you CARES what they say! You have to be a bean counter lurking in some obscure cube sweating over monthly office supply abuse somewhere. I think you're the person wearing those perjoritive monikers, not Kwesi. Kwesi CRUSHED this draft. Get over yourself.

Give it a f'ing rest. Do you know what the chart actually looks like after round two? A big freaking roulette wheel. Anyone who thinks differently is a moron. Iβve watched this stuff long enough to know that, no matter what some internet blowhard thinks.
