So does Turner play on the edge, LB, or both? He can play both, mostly edge, but he wasn't terrible in coverage last year

On the plus side, they wonβt need much cap space for draft picks next year. LOL

Love the agressiveness but I think they gave up a bit too much with Verse and D players still on the board. Probably a Flores pick so I'm a believer. Turner and Verse exist in different universes. Verse is strong and straight line fast, but lacks bend. Turner is like the top RAS guy in the draft.

#23 and a 5th along with a 3rd and 4th next year (having already traded the #2 leaves the cupboard bare for next year's draft).
Another "brilliant" trade by Kwesi.
They will have a compensatory pick in round 3 for Cousins next year. The cupboard isn't quite bare yet Rationalizing comp picks? Big whoops. Comp picks start at #97 (after all 32 teams use their 1-3 rounders).

Trading for Turner was expensive, but a pretty good pick. Kwesi better slow down, or we might not draft again until 2026π€£

Any word on the terms of the trade? #23Β and a 5th along with a 3rd and 4th next year (having already traded the #2 leaves the cupboard bare for next year's draft).Β

Not paying your QB $45M per year frees up a lot of money to sign free agents to fill roster holes. Thereβs a lot of solid vets you can go after that will be as good as any third or fourth rounder youβre likely to draft.

McCarthy turned 21 on 01/20/2024
Turner turned 21 on 02/02/2024
Might not mean a lick of difference; but, I prefer players dominating when they are an "inexperienced" 20 year old versus a 22/23 year old that has a couple more years in the system.

Does JJM have what it takes to be a year 1 starter, or will they try and train him up for a year behind Darnold?
