Teams don't just do stuff like that without a plan of their own. Kwesi bit on it, this is a make or break draft for him.

Harrison Phillips-Great signing. Led interior DLineman across the NFL in tackles last season
Jordan Hicks-great signing. Set the tone for the defense last season.
Pace Jr.-Tremendous rookie year
Jordan Addison-Tremendous rookie year.
Chandler-good back, tremendous speed. Lot of football left in him.
Ingram-Has started 32 games across two seasons since being drafted. Some of you guys couldn't evaluate a lineman to save your ass.
Blackmon-solid
Murphy Jr.-good year, prob be best as a slot CB
Schlottman-terrific depth piece
Roy-nice DT prospect. They usually take a couple years to develop. Likely be a nice piece.
Evans-up and down, contributor
Hockenson-I found two sites that track receivers. One had him for 3 drops, one listed him for 4 drops. Quit listening to made up sheet.
Powell-Nice find. Great 3
Ryan Wright-solid punter
Bullard-solid contributor as a 3-4 end.
Nailor-still on the roster
Lowe-his return is what he cost so a wash.
Z-terrific fit for one season. Big role in 13 win season.
Ward, Hall, McBride-too early to tell

I disagree with the talk about should have traded Hunter last year. Vikings were coming off a 13-win season, probably last shot to get somewhere with Cousins at QB. You don't trade your best defensive player if you're interested in winning games. He should have been traded in October after kirk got hurt and the season was for all intensive purposes over. ...intents and purposes...

I seem to remember clearly that the Vikes were not getting offers of more than a 3rd and a late round pick for Hunter from multiple outlets because he was going to be a free agent, so I think you are completely wrong on that. In hind sight they could have probably drafted Levis, and not drafted Addison. But seeing as KOC was banging the table for Levis and not Addison I can't even consider that a bad thing. Cousins market was one team, the Falcons, and I think there is going to be more to that story coming in the next few weeks. As far as desperate for A QB in the draft, It's not what a team needs that causes the price to go up, it's the quality of the draft at that position for any given year and the amount of teams that want that position. I think KAMs drafts have been bad for the most part, I'll give you that, but his handling of the Cousins situation, along with Cook, kendricks and Theilen have been handled correctly. As far as Hunter goes, it was a no win situation, the vikes were still in the playoff hunt and like I said before they were not getting offered more than a third per multiple outlets. Now, I will give you a third this year is better than a comp pick third next year. Do tell...
