Cruz was going to be the Twins "automatic" runner at 2nd but is replaced by Cave.

Marwin just got called out on a high strike that started at the bill of his cap and dropped to the letters when it got to the C but clearly high when it crossed the plate. Argued the call vehemently (I don't blame him) and got tossed so Garver (only non-pitcher left) will have to play 1st if Vargas doesn't come through with a single. Vargas hung tough (fouled off 6 pitches) but went down swinging.
I'm done. Have to work early. Such a pity to waste such a great game by Maeda with Rogers looking like crap tonight (and mediocre in several others)

Hate the new rule and the Brewers uniforms.
Thielbar does his job and retires the side with the "automatic" runner at 2nd to start the inning.
Marwin arguing balls and strikes? I think its a stupid rule. Saw your post after.

Buxton's 11th inning-ending double play he grounded into turned out great for Twins automatic runner in the 12th.

Team has dropped from 3rd (2019) to 19th (2020) in batting average. Basically everybody down except for Cruz and Polanco.

Wonder if that was the first time in MLB that only 2 hitters went to the plate (11th inning)?

Nice to have Hill back. Hopefully he can stay healthy.

Always good to give up a walk and a HR with 2 out

1-0 Rosario Still pissed they sucked up Kenta's win last night. You're still pissed? It took me over an hour after turning in for the night to fall asleep and when I woke up this morning I was still pissed due to the way Rogers gave the game away.
But, as I frequently say, move onto the next game and focus on the what needs to be corrected.

Always good to give up a walk and a HR with 2 out Gave up another 2 runs afterward. He was sweating like a pig out there on the mound. Command of all of his pitches was off, gave up 3 BBS and then Brewers started teeing off on his hanging curve ball. Baldeli waited too long to take him out.
Was switching back and forth between this game and the Celts who destroyed the 6ers tonight to go up 2-0 in their series.

Thielbar shuts the Brewers down for 1 1/3 other than a meaningless single who quickly got erased on a DP and looked good like the other night.
So what does Baldeli do? He brings in Thorpe who gave up a hard hit lead off single, followed by a bomb to dead C for a 2 run HR. Is Baldeli throwing the game? Every time Thorpe pitches, he sucks and shouldn't be playing except maybe at AA ball (if they had minors this year) or a beer league playing slow pitch softball.

Lewis Thorpe doesn't think his 6.75 ERA was high enough. 6-1 Brewers. Think I'll watch Mavs-Clippers only instead.
