Of how great, in all his misshapen glory, Pat Elflein has been? Watch and learn because he is playing out his mind

Here's some interesting season stats for the Vikings o-line: 4th best in rushing yards 4th best in fewest sacks allowed (23) 5th best in fewest QB hits (59)
That's a pretty good synergy between QB, RBs, and oline. I would say our players and coach have done a pretty good job.

Part of the game plan many were complaining about was setup to minimize the effect of the best pass rush the team has faced this year... Stefanski and Kubiak have done a masterful job of masking the Vikings deficiencies on the OL this year...

They have been good, but they need to keep showing it when it counts. The Seahawks pushed them about. We will see how they do against the packers and possibly the bears. The packers should allow us to run on them, but the bears d causes us problems and the good playoff teams have good dlines. For example the 49ers, saints and Seahawks will be the big tests for them. But I will say I have been pleasantly placed.

Saints D-line is without two of their starters for the rest of the season. I want them in round 1 as opposed to going play in Lambeau in 10 degree weather

I also like the idea of us playing the saints first. But I wouldnโt mind us getting the fifth seed somehow and playing the cowboys indoors and then the saints indoors, then the first outdoor game being the championship game.

Unless San Fran runs through GB (very possible) and Seattle (50/50), then it would be SF at Minnesota for the NFCCG What a game that would be

Not a lot of talk about the Oline. That's a great thing.

I've been hoping our OL would at least reach "average" for several years, and it looks like they might actually be over-achieving! All five starters are under contract at least through next year. It will be nice if they can stay healthy and we can finally have some continuity; especially with the new zone blocking scheme.

if you showed me those numbers at the start of the season I would take it no questions.
the line clearly is way improved over last year. The brain trust must be doing something right.
If Zim is back next year, I see no reason why he will not at this point he can use draft for 3 more db's :-)

Add in Rhodes' inevitable departure and we're left with something like Harry, Hughes, Hill (if he's not in Commish jail) and Boyd. Yikes!!

This organization is building some special.I hope Minnesota Golphers Winfield Jr will be our first pick. He makes more plays than most cornerbacks and he is a safety.
