If Zim is back next year, I see no reason why he will not at this point he can use draft for 3 more db's :-) You'd have to be a pretty "special" GM/owner to fire a coach after what will at least be a 10-6 season. I think we finish the season at 12-4. Noone is firing a 12-4 coach. Ask Jerry Jones...

Zimmer will be back next year. No need to break the band up just yet. This organization is building some special.I hope Minnesota Golphers Winfield Jr will be our first pick. He makes more plays than most cornerbacks and he is a safety. Vikings defense could have as many as 7 new starters next year... First major overhaul since Zim got here... The only certain returning starters will be Kendricks, Hunter, Smith, and Barr... Vikings could lose a coordinator or 2 also... Offense only has a couple pieces that might be changed out... Still it will be a large turnover one way or the other...

While he technically isn't a starter at the moment, Rhodes is a dead man walking; with Hughes taking his reps away. I hold out hope that Griff will re-sign at a somewhat team friendly salary (it might technically be him not voiding his remaining years but instead agreeing to a more reasonable salary than the $13M he's currently scheduled to make at 33 years old). We absolutely have to figure out a way to keep at least one or two of the FA DBs. My choices would be Harris and Waynes, but that may be prohibitive without a Cousins extension.

It would be nice to know what they think of our two Redshirt offensive lineman that were keeping in active every week of course they're not going to tell us. Just what they think of those two will dictate how we draft in the early rounds this year who knows maybe we got lucky and one of those turns into a player

I think pat has been doing a fine job....I think his skill set is being used well with this run blocking scheme myself...like most our other linemen.
my only concern is greenbayβ¦.gotta knock them off their pedestal ...I cant even believe they are still relevant in all this...how they are still number 1 in our division just surprises me...should have kept mcarthy lol

Elf played very well this weekend. The whole line was above average, no major jailbreaks, no huge penalties. I think O'Neil had one false start and that's it? The two holds were on Tread, I can't recall an OL getting one.
Not sure what was going on with the center-QB exchanges, it looked to me that Bradbury was doing his job and getting the ball where it needed to be. Were those on Kirk?

OL might not be a priority next Apr

I read somewhere that Bradbury had a finger injury and they had to tape a couple of fingers together. If true, that was likely the only problem and it should (hopefully) be resolved by Monday night.

We also have Collins on the 53 man roster. I don't know if he's been active or not. Certainly, it would be nice if one or more of them could take the next step. Collins had great measurables coming out of college. I wanted us to draft him late, but was happy that we signed him as an UDFA.

Seriously when has our oline recently not been an issue, o you mean when our amazing running back breaks tackles and gets long runs. Or our Qb throws terrible/great passes even as he is under pressure all of the time. We need need to learn that our undersized oline men arenβt going to cut it..

Your stats page isnβt showing up. Watching games I donβt believe Kirk has as much time as you think. He seems to hold the ball to long, but he should be throwing it away quicker than he does. Our problem is that we get pressure up the middle too often, and he rolls out all of the time. I donβt see many teams in the league get such bad pressure up the middle each game.
