Ricky always had a tremendous amount of draft capital and we made the playoffs about once every three years and mostly got our doors blown off early. He also drafted a lot of good players over the years

Scouts Inc. says there was a 3% chance Turner was available at 17.

I still can't believe this. Kwes paid the equivelent of two mid first rounders in draft capital but this guy is worth every bit of it. Brace for immediate impact

Scouts Inc. says there was a 3% chance Turner was available at 17. I would think most years Turner would go in the top 10. Qb/Tackle/WR needy teams pushed him down. So much offensive talent at the top this year and teams didn't want to miss out

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. To get Turner we gave up: 2024 #42 2024 #188 2025 2nd Round To the Texans 2024 #23 2025 3rd Round 2025 4th Round To the Jaguars I'm exchange we got #17 (Turner) #232 (Texans) 2025 5th Round (Jaguars) We spent 6 picks in the Round 1-4 range and got back 2 picks in the 5-7 range. This guy needs to have a Micah Parsons level effect on our defense to justify the expenditure. A, maybe A+ on boxing out Payton to secure JJM, but I'm very conflicted on the the way we finished Night 1... In general a next year pick value drops a round. So basically we moved to the 17th pick (middle round 1 for top 10 prospect) and a 2025 pick with value of a 6th rounder -- for a 2nd and 6th this year and 2025 picks with this year value of a 3rd, 4th, and 5th. This is a move from what would have been #42 to #17 or a move up 25 slots. Just moving up 15 slots in Round 1 costs the farm.

Scouts Inc. says there was a 3% chance Turner was available at 17. Which is why I believe he will be considered one of the better value picks in the first round this year. I am truly amazed that the Vikings were able to select him at 17, even if that means moving up 6 spots. Kwesi did a phenomenal job of getting this done.

Payton never wanted JJ; he was heard saying that he wanted Nix all along.
He wouldnβt of lied

Haha...look at KO's face...hilarious. Another positive of KO and why guys want to come play for him and this organization. They remember these guys and the moments that mean something to them. They feel wanted and they feel heard. KO references the comment that DT made while in KO's office for a visit about wanting to be a part of the Vikings organization. While it may be simple and something many say, DT doesn't know that...all he cares about is that memory and tying that together knowing that his future coach cared enough to remember something simple. I truly think this organization is turning the corner in a good way. I recognize a lot are not sold on KO yet, but you have to respect and appreciate the way he goes about his business and has built a positive culture in MN. I cannot wait for DT to get on the field. This kid will be a difference maker. I love that he emulated his game around Danielle Hunter too. I also loved that he said Danielle isn't the biggest dude, but then corrected himself by saying he's definitely swole...lol

I went back and watched the taped version of the ESPN 1st round draft because I was curious to hear Nick Saban's take on things, especially on his former player, DT. Saban likened DT to Dont'a Hightower. He had a lot of great things to say about this kid as you'd expect and that he figured he'd had been drafted in the 8-12 picks, so this was a great value for MN. I'd be ok with that!

He wouldnβt of lied Honestly, given that the Vikings didnβt pay too much to move up, chances are that either Denver liked Nix more or liked them both pretty much equally. Otherwise, Denver would have - via NY - forced the Vikes to pay even more to move up the slot and/or moved up themselves. doesnβt matter, though.

KAM looks like a guy telling his best friend he nailed the hottest chick in town the night before!!!
I know that is wrong to say but I love the smirk on his face and how he acts all nonchalant.
