I have really come to despise all these fake "reports" based on mere speculations and then repeated by numerous other reporters as though they have any merit whatsoever. The sensationalist headlines lure you into checking out the article only to find that the facts are nothing like the headline and are nothing but guesswork based on what some other sports writer said. Why is this? The ad revenue of these sites is based on how many clicks the stories get. Doesn't need to have any basis in reality. Just want the clicks.

Thank you.
MSN pumps and dumps curated thumbnail articles like shitcoins. They present them all inside the same fake news template.

My favorite is when I read a news article that actually presents something fresh and new while openly discussing the source. Then I go and immediately find what I just read wrapped in a fresh new headline, thumbnail, re-written... I read into the article and find they are intentionally vague about their source because they aren't interested in sending you to the real one.
They go around as being knowledgeable news narrators for the (team's) plan while commentating over someone else's report.
They're probably AI bot articles advertising themselves. We're in the future now...
Start the draft already, lol.

Easy solution: Donβt read them. Iβm not on Twitter, FB or any other social media site and I donβt think Iβm missing f anything. If you spend all day walking in a cesspool youβre going to get shit on your shoes.

You mean you don't come across a video headline that says "MY GOD!! JUST HAPPENED!! NFL IN SHOCK!! BLAH BLAH!" and immediately click on it with bated breath? Shame on you. I mean, the NFL is in SHOCK don't ya know. Then you look at the site's subs and he's got about 40, probably all just this guy's drunken frat bros laughing in their beers at every click. I clicked once weeks ago just out of curiosity, spent about 10 seconds on it, and lost an IQ point for every second I was there. The regular members of this board are well aware how little I can afford a loss like that. If you're a long time Vikings message board reader you also know you don't have any to spare either, so Do. Not. Click! Take my word for it. The NFL is NOT in shock by whatever drivel is under that hysterical and perfidious click bait. This has been a Community Service Announcement.

Sadly, it's not just in sports that the media fails on a daily basis. You can't listen to a news cast anymore without hearing some talking head pontificating their opinion or the opinion of their bosses.

Yes. Endless opinions. Then the next news show is endless opinions about the same subject. Then the very next news show...

It is extremely unfortunate this is the model the Media chooses. Problem is even the legitimate media is less because of it. But then again the local news rag could get a story straight if you handed it to them to copy.
