No team at this strategy point (pre-draft) will give anything away. The sports media is trying to build, and some methods are more flamboyant and apparently irritating to some here than others.
What would be cool is legitimate leaks. Several years ago, the Cowboys draft board in a photo was shown by mistake from their War room. It may have been post draft, but was surprising. Also, recall the the Offensive Lineman who posted some tweeking type video online right before a draft? This draft move stuff is closely guarded, almost the same as playbooks. NFL draft is all mostly hope with so much failure overall - but we eat it up.
It's popular to bash the News Media and becoming more to do the same with Sports Media. Go become a reporter or investigator yourself then. You can post on some cheapo platform or Youtube and hope to have cult-like following.
We don't really know the order the Vikings brass have the top 6 QBs are for them. At the end, they even lie as a team saying they got #1 from their pool.

I agree, we don't really know if they got their #1 guy or not, and chances are they're lucky if they get that guy 50% of the time. Thing is, they don't want to humiliate their newly drafted player with "Yeah, He was 4th on our list at that position, but we needed a <blank> NOW and he was all that was left. We're praying he's not a bust, but who the hell knows? He sucks in several measurables, so yes, we have that concern."
I can understand that point of view, and it's probably one of the few times putting lipstick on a pig has some validity. I think every fan who's watched the draft knows the only pick that is guaranteed to be exactly the guy the picking team wants is overall pick #1. Every other pick from #2 on will have an increasing chance he wasn't #1 on the picking team's draft board.

This is too easy to avoid. There are websites and reporters to avoid. If on "X" one can mute fake sources in 2 seconds.
