Possibly, depends on the amount he signed for. It would need to average over $3 million a year to qualify

Hopefully the Pats overpaid for him for our sake.

He lost money with a really uneven 2023 season.

Yeah, Osborn seems inconsistent. He will have a few good games with several seemingly nonexistent games in between.

That might be enough to tilt the balance to two third round comp picks for the Vikes.

Wow, I really thought someone was going to pay him more than that. I donβt know how Darnell Mooney gets 3 years for 39 and Osborn gets 1 for 4.

I liked Osborn. I figured he would step up after Thielen left. Didn't happen.
48 receptions. 540 yards 3 TD's
Hope he prospers in N.E

That might be enough to tilt the balance to two third round comp picks for the Vikes. Over the cap thinks so and they seem to have a pretty good track record with projecting comp picks. I don't fully understand how the Vikings can offset nearly $50m across four additions with just the lowest four qualifying losses totalling just over $20m, leaving Hunter and Cousins not offset, but it works for me. overthecap.com/compensatory-picks

The pay is the average per year, so a one year contract can be equal to a 2 or 3 year contract. It's a very complicated formula.
