That should open a compensatory pick in the 3rd round for Cousins.

I was hoping we could get him back, but I doubt the Vikings would have offered that much money.

Best to DJ. I thought he played hard and well last year prior to the injury.

Wonnum was scheduled to visit the Bears next who were said to have serious interest.

That should open a compensatory pick in the 3rd round for Cousins. Correct , now someone sign Osborn for $3.5 or 4 million per year and we will get a second 3 next year, for hunter.

We really must not have wanted him back, that's not much money considering we have several pass rushing holes to fill.

Keep in mind that Wonnum suffered a torn quad. He had surgery to repair it in late December.
That type of surgery can take up to year to regain full strength. I hope he is at full strength earlier.

Keep in mind that Wonnum suffered a torn quad. I also think having Andre Carter and Pat Jones made Wonnum expendable.

Injury cost him a bit. Think he could have went for a similar deal as Van Ginkel got if he had not gotten injured.

That should open a compensatory pick in the 3rd round for Cousins. Interested in your math since we signed at least 4 comp pick eligible FA's and Wonnum can cancel out Van Ginkel I still have Greenard canceling out Hunter and Darnold canceling or reducing Kirk comp pick. Who do you have canceling out Darnold and Cashman then? We lost 2 tier 1 FA's and 1 mid so far as I can tell and signed 1 tier 1 and 3 mids. Even if our numbers even off signings to losses we will get a bone thrown for the Kirk loss because he was the highest signing. I maybe missed Osborn or someone else getting a deal?

So far the Vikings have lost 5 players that qualify for the equation and added 4. Hunter and Greenard cancel each other out. Cashman, Darnold, and Van Ginkell are canceled out by Davenport, Hicks and Wonnum. Leaving Cousins as the player we would receive a 3rd round pick for. Overthecap has a good breakdown of this on their site.
