Not much more for Jim to do as he came back home and built a champion... I think he wants a shot a SB now...

Watching Harbaugh and the Michigan team boast on the stage hard not to think about how they are allowed to be up there after being caught cheating this year, think most programs would have been banned from the playoffs and their HC would not have returned to the sidelines. Other programs have had victories taken away and heavy sanctions for a lot less.

IMO the Wilfs are decent owners. Maybe not great but not horrible Wilfs have been excellent on the real estate side of things. New Stadium and practice facilities. But they have been disappointing when it comes to the football operations aspect. The quick hiring of Childress; the hiring of Frazier; letting Harbaugh walk away. Have they even hired a head coach with previous head coaching experience? I don't think so. Rookie every time.

Penix looked like he did at Indiana but that's not all his fault. He hasn't faced a defense this good in the last 2 seasons. That's a lot of games playing JV Pac 12 football defenses.
McCarthy does what he can with one fringe NFL wideout on the roster. I still think he will be a very good pro.

Penix got no help at all, but he missed a lot of throws, he does not look like a 1st rounder, think his stock took a big drop tonight, he is not a consideration at 11.
I would probably agree. Until just recently, he carried a 2nd round grade. Now I can see why.

I would take JJ if he declares and is there at 11. He wasnโt great last night but he didnโt need to be. I like his arm and mobility but most of all his swagger. The kid looks like a leader and isnโt scared by the big moment. Kirk has been good but you always sense the sphincter tightening at clutch time. This kid seems to crave the spotlight which is want you want in a QB.

I was pretty up on McCarthy until last nights game he just looks like a game manager to me with limited big play and a below average NFL arm. Pennix on the other hand looked the part of an NFL QB. Pennix spent the night on his back and definitely hurt in the ribs so throwing had to be tough. But he kept slinging the ball and trying. His receivers (by far superior to the Michigan Receivers but not to the DB's really did him no favors). The 2 ints were because of the injury and not being able to follow through.

Rookie every time. Harbaugh is certainly a great college coachb but does not mean he will be great at NFL level. Easy to build teams when a coach at a powerhouse school. I was glad we let Harbaugh walk. He was way to confident and airagent. Reminded me of Childress and Zimmer, someone that would rub a pro the wrong way and make it difficult to lure free agents to the team.

He had a guy wide open to the left side of the field. He missed badly on throws to at least 2 wide open receivers. The kid took a beating but I saw nothing last night that said definite NFL QB.
