Hopefully the second time is enough for this franchise to quit hiring OCs with zero experience to be the head coach.

This is KOC's dilemma for the last 2 games. Will he show consistency in his decisions by benching Mullins for his four INTs like he benched Dobbs for his 4, or will he show clear hypocrisy by trotting Mullins out after his same 4 pick afternoon (One of which ended the Vikings' last gasp chance of a win.) The formula is as clear as it is concise: Consistency = Hall, hypocrisy = Mullins. KOC's long history of failing to replace underperforming players tells me he'll go with hypocrisy. Any arguments out there? He's announcing Mullens as the starter and said he's going to "coach him up". Which considering how long Mullens has been playing and stinking is pretty hilarious, but KOC had the same dumb notion about Dobbs in year 7 of the Rocket Man. He seems to think he's some sort of miracle worker but the results don't lie. As for hypocrisy, he was hired because of his ability to talk a lot of hot air. Its not like he's some straight shooter type, he's a b.s. artist. He had JJ for the TD at the end threw a duck behind JJ that forced him to stop and gave the deep safety a chance to recover.

This sheet isn't on KOC.
Team lost games early with a TON of turnovers.
Cousins went down and KOC turned to Hall who immediately tried running the football and almost got himself killed. Incredibly stupid decision when your team's backup QB is a turnover machine we just signed.
Then we turned to Mullens who knew the offense so we could try to make plays in games. Big surprise he also sucks.
Terrible ball security and season long turnovers and Injuries torpedoed the season.

No running game at all
No Addison or Hock .Yeah he forced passes but you canβt ignore away 400 yards

Mullins will start next week. I doubt we see Hall until they are officially eliminated. I'm afraid this is true. As far the outcome goes, I don't think it matters, we got a loss coming in the Packers game, no matter who our QB is.

After the Cousins injury it has been a lost season with no real chance in January
Mullins is a decent backup QB that can fill in for a game or two... but he makes a lot of bad decisions
The team needs to find out if Hall is a capable QB2 or better

The game was never a blowout but KOC decided running the ball 10 times was the right call.
That part is 100 percent on him.

Yeah the offensive line sucks, it has for years, but still feels like you had to try to run the ball more than 10 times with a walking turnover playing QB, instead of letting him sling it damn near 40 times.
But is what it is. Without Addison and Hockenson what little chance Mullens had of being successful is certainly over now.

One good thing to all of this, is that we now know we have to move on from both Dobbs and Mullens. Neither should be on the team next year.
The upcoming off-season is getting more and more formidable. I'm not sure we have the leadership in this organization to deal with it properly.

I vote for Mullens. I want to see if he can throw five picks. I havenβt seen that since Tommy K did it at Shea against the Jets in 1979.

Running game wasn't producing much. If KOC had dialed up more run plays this board would have been bitching about him being to conservative of unimaginative.
Damn tough crowd. The Vikings had time to throw and open WRs and TEs the whole damn game. Kind of hard to ignore that.
