Saw this mock and thought I'd pass it along
Most of the top of draft seem like obvious picks. Has the Vikes picking #13 and taking a safety (Trevon Moehrig TCU S ?!?!). I guess anything might happen but I am assuming due to cap issues we'll likely not be thinking S with our 1st rounder.
Side question: Anyone watch BYU? QB for the future is of course a giant ?. What's people's take on Zach Wilson as a QB that might be available in mid-1st? I see Kyle Trask's name moving up too...

Reply quick before it vanishes!
I saw this mock as well and it's pretty interesting how many QB's are rocketing up and how many teams are suddenly QB hungry once again. The life cycle on a brand spanking new QB these seems to be no more than 2 seasons.

I really like Zack Wilson. Kid really throws a tight ball. Has some moxie to him too. Kind of reminds me of Derek Carr with (what Zimmer might say) bigger balls.

I have seen Paye at 15 or so and that is guy I want... He is a matchup nightmare that can move all over the DL... Kind of guy teams like Seattle and Philly like to have around... #6 is by far highest I have seen him ranked... Safety is absolutely an option, I mean name a bigger hole? 1st rd could go anywhere except RB... DB and WR might have best value in teens...

Taking a safety early in the draft would be a mistake. It's a very good and very deep safety class.
My way too early hope for their 1st pick is Zach Wilson, Wyatt Davis or Marvin Wilson.

No way we should take a safety in the 1st.. If it's not QB then build the trenches OT or DT.

Clearly a bunch of these mock drafters just read a headline or two from teams like the Vikings and don't understand what they really need. What they seemed to realize was Ant was franchised and so we need a safety. Ant's done ok but likely we're not going to pay him big bucks next year so we will need a replacement --- but with all the cap issues in 2021, safety shouldn't be close to top hole for the team to fix. If a QB you like is there - maybe. But I assume the smart move would be work on those trenches (OL/DL) with your mid-1st round pick.

No way we should take a safety in the 1st.. If it's not QB then build the trenches OT or DT. Who ever is GM better start picking QB's because no matter the buzz the fellow needs to prove himself in the real world. Not all the pick's pan out (Ryan Leaf for example) so get started next draft. We need a QB first.... then try to build a team around him.
