With the Vikings likely picking between 5 and 10 in the draft, what would you be willing to give up to get to pick 1 or 2? I think it would take at least next years first or Justin Jefferson to do it.
The Jets will probably be at 1 with the Giants or Jags at 2.

Those are two generational talents. It will take two number ones plus. And it would be totally worth it.

Offer, Thielen, Smith, Rudolph, plus a 6th rnd pick.
How could the Jets refuse?๐

Do what you have to do to get this done.
Almost 60 years after this franchise was started, we have had one HOF caliber QB and it was during his era that we went to the dance.
I would shoot for the fences and give up the farm.
Why not? Every other method to construct a team has not worked except this one. What is there to lose as a GM or HC?

I think Dallas will be the worst in the division and actually I'd love it if the Giants were worse than Washington, I think they still like Jones. Can't argue about Jax, hope for some Minshew magic!

I think Lawrence can be the real deal. I'm not convinced Fields is yet. Not saying he can't/won't be good, but not sure he's give-up-the-house good.

I would give every draft pick this year and number one next year but they have to take Cousins in the deal.

Another important factor to consider is the future salary of a #1 QB. Look at the recent trend in QB contracts of $35-$40 mil per year and rising.

Fields looked phenomenal yesterday, BUT...my concern is When was the last time a good good NFL QB came out of OSU?? I remember analysts talking about Haskins being the best QB in his draft... howโs that worked?? My point is when your Coaches, System, OL and Receivers dominate itโs hard to really asses for good your QB really is.

Not to be sarcastic but would you really trust Spielman and Zimmer with the careers of either these Qb? Daniel Carlson looks pretty good kicking for the Raiders all because Jon Gruden took the time to make adjustments to his kicking technique.

A couple of things, first, Haskins was the first OSU QB drafted in the 1st round since 1982! Historically, it has not been a school synonymous with great quarterbacks, not even close. Second, Fields was Mr. Georgia Football, he's from Georgia and even played there before transferring to OSU. My only point being, he's not your conventional Buckeye QB. And third, although I'm not writing Haskins off yet, he hasn't looked great so far. None of us have any way of measuring maturity or personality but just for the sake of looking, I found a few things. Haskins' quote after being selected 15th: "To be honest, Iโm more motivated than ever before. Iโve got a chip on my shoulderโฆ the league done messed up,โ Give me bravado and talk from skill position guys but QB's need to take the high road. I know another big talker who flamed out, his name's Manziel and nobody cares anymore. Here are a couple of recent articles about Haskins, bragging about stats after a loss? Poor practice and study habits? Uh oh, who's going to follow that guy? nflspinzone.com/2020/10/11/dwayne-haskins-washington-football-team-benched/www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2020/10/08/dwayne-haskins-benched-washington/And then finally back to Fields, here's an interview he did with Kirk Herbstreit. Again, no one knows at this point, all I can say is I didn't hear anything I didn't like. Edit: Geez, I don't know why I'm shocked. The Vikings have taken 4 QB's in the first round period. Not one in the top 10! No wonder we can't win a damn SB, it's the most important position on the field and all we get is Pep #11, Ponder #12, Kramer #27 and Teddy #32. Wow.
