probably not the end of the world --- but it did often seem like they should have given him more of a shot.
But Vikings better throw money at Ant Harris. Took forever before team let him play but he's shown he's got the skills.

Maybe if he wasn't a moron getting himself arrested in the middle of the night for a DUI, he'd still be employed.
You make millions of dollars and can afford to hire a taxi, Uber or Lyft driver, but instead drive like a drunken jackass, what did you expect?
Good riddance

Not exactly in a position let DBs go that can play (alot of spots, including ST) and wont cost a ton. True utility guy that can cover our butts in a jam.

Go make your new bread Jaron! Just remember and appreciate that it all started in Minnesota.

Its funny hearing some say 20 and 41 and 27 need go. Those are the guys Zim actually developed and now showing something. Not 29 26 21.

He improved significantly from year one to year two, and he continued to improve until finally making the Pro Bowl in his third year under Zim. 26 improved a bunch from year 1 to year 2 to year 3, all under Zimmer. Just because he was a high draft pick doesn't mean Zimmer hasn't developed him. I don't know whether we can say much about 21, given that he was injured a big chunk of last year, and he was behind Rhodes/Waynes before again going on IR Zimmer is a pretty terrible in-game coach and strategist, but he does a very good job of developing players.

I am likely in the minority but dont think so much on 26 (other than wheels)...in terms of being a high #1 or playing like it. Suppose you can say 21 injured, but not being avail in long or clutch periods is a negative. Imho he shouldnt be here anyway bc the pick should have been OL. 29 did certainly peak much higher than most CBs we have had, but it didn't last long and Zim's mojo didn't bring it back. My opinion is it was mental/attitude and lingered so long it turned into physical issue.

He shouldn't have driven around a barricade on 94 drunk. He couldn't beat out the weakest on the secondary for fulltime status. Bye.

We gave him plenty of opportunities and if we can't keep Harris, he could be back.

We will very likely part ways with DBs who were ahead of him on the depth chart for this past season. So it remains to be seen if he wud or cud have beat out the new crop of all DBs in camp. Seems worth a hold, esp because he can likely be easily bargained with on salary because 1. he wants to stay and 2. going elsewhere with alcohol hiccup is more diffucult/awkward.

Waynes was a top 15 pick and has never had a single pro bowl vote and has been near the bottom or middle of pff rankings. Xaiver has 3 good seasons. Mike has sucked. 3 first round CB's and that's all he got from them. What exactly did he develop

Side note: if we let 20 and 27 go, we lose our Dabo connection.

What exactly did he develop The HC generally doesn't determine draft picks, especially not draft order. 29 and 26 both improved for 2-3 years under Zimmer. That's called player development.

Yeah I get that but he needs to grow up instead of being all butthurt on Twitter. Do the work and get the job done. Take some responsibility for yourself instead of whining. Tough decisions have to be made and he isn't helping himself.
