Alex Marvez reporting ( through PFT ) that Adam Zimmer could be candidate for D Coordinator. If he actually deserved the promotion via hard work, teaching ability, and talent I wouldn't have a problem with it. Trouble is it will only be seen as nepotism and will be too hard to determine if it's anything more than that until games are played.

Iβll be shocked if we donβt hire a former Bengal coach.

If Zim is staying and D coaching position open.....would Zim hire Marvin Lewis to run the defense?Β Would Marvin take it?Β Β It's possible. We might turn into the Bengals of the NFC. Marvin Lewis at DC and Jay Gruden or Hue Jackson as OC. we have been the Bengals of the NFC for a while now.

That should be a cautionary tale, then. The Bengals did not get better after during Lewis. The good news for them, if they know how to use it, is having the #1 draft position.
