I see from the article posted on espn, that stefanski will be heavily involved in picking a new GM for the browns. i wonder if G. Kubiak would be an option for that.
but i'm not too bummed about Stef's hire and departure. i thought our offense lacked creativity w yesterday being a perfect example. playing a great Def, you gotta do different things. if they are great at getting to the qb - move the qb around, move the target. as poster above stated, roll him out and move him around. most of the press about the San Fran offense and why its so good is bc of how many diff things they do. mind-blowing that all this creativity isn't commonplace.

He was ok. We beat the piss out of a lot of bad defenses. Would absolutely love to have Shurmer back. Amen!

WOW!! THAT SHOWS YOU HOW STUPID THE BROWNS ARE. THE 49ers DEFENSE OF COORDINATOR WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER PICK FOR HEAD COACH....THEY CAN HAVE STEFANSKI.

Would like to see Shurmer come back. Hope he doesn't go to the Browns with Stefanski

If he does take Edwards I hope zimmer hires a young def coordinator that lends send fresh perspective to zimmer .... zimmer is a really good defensive guy but maybe some fresh ideas would help him and then he needs to stay out of the offensive game plan and trust them

Does shurmur and kubiak run the same system? If not then Iβd prefer not to have shurmur back ... the offense needs consistency not to change ever year

Would like to see Shurmer come back. Hope he doesn't go to the Browns with Stefanski That would be surprising considering current Browns owner Jimmy Haslam was the one who fired Pat Shurmur from his role as Browns head coach. Doubt he'd want to go back there in a lesser role.
