What was his problem throwing his helmet down.

I have said for years..the guy's on field behavior will cost us at some point. I stick uo for him...great player...but way to temperamental and he knows better by now.

That was definitely disappointing to see. It certainly felt like he was pouting and I can only hope something else was going on.

I was wondering, during the game, will the playcalling go to him because of the tantrum? They waited a series at least and then gave him two handoffs, I guess in case the Saints were paying attention?
Anyway, eventually Kirk got him the ball near the endzone and again in OT. He just needs to keep his head in the game.

I don't blame him for being frustrated, at least I know he gives a shit. But throwing the helmet was not cool. Hopefully things settle down somewhat now.

He said it was frustration at being covered. Not against anybody, or the play calls, just at having a hard time getting open.
The team knows 'That's Diggs'.

Not worried what his teammates think. Do not want a penalty at wrong time from his "antics". In short, grow the #%$+ up and control ur emotions before it backfires.

I hear you there. But what I'm saying is yup, he's known as a hot headed, emotional player. And it has already cost the team several times.
15 for removing the helmet after a TD this year. His rookie year he got an unsportsmanlike penalty for spinning the ball after a long reception for a first down. (They let you do that now.) His displeasure early on this year with the play selection, etc.
It was Dalvin Cook who said post game, when asked about Diggs' behavior, and I paraphrase: "That's Diggs! (Chuckling) I love that guy! He gets us going, man.
The good far outweighs the bad with Diggsy, and though I'd love to see him stop displaying his emotions like he's prone to doing, (and thus taking an occasional penalty), I'm not sure you get the all-out baller in key situations that he is, if you take away his feistiness.

We need a guy with heart like Diggs but maturities gotta be there. He made some crucial plays at the end.

I took alot of heat for defending Diggs re the incident earlier this year. Bc, I agree, he can be a stimulator. My beef then was primarily the amount of the fine being over blown. HOWEVER; this is the PLAYOFFS...not pre or reg season. Any mistakes are multiplied several fold.

C'mon, players do things like throwing their helmets out of frustration on the sidelines all the time. As long as it's not on the field and it doesn't hit anyone it's not a problem.
