Cook had 94 yds rushing today. Almost twice the yards of Kamara. Feeding Cook the ball is definetly key.

And two weeks ago people on this board wanted him replaced because of injuries.
It's the NFL, guys are going to get dinged up. Cook is a phenomenal back and I hope he can keep playing through the pain

I didn't want Cook replaced. I didn't think Cook would heal so quickly, considering how bad the injury originally looked.

At the end of the game when Cook was stopped for a loss thatβs on the coaches they need to have plays set up when the other team puts 11 in the box which for pros should be too easy and yet another advantage he brings to the team

Cook got stuffed for a loss on all of them.

yeah I questioned trying to run outside on the goal line so many times, and the saints have speed at backer

Don't forget to factor in what Dalvin does in the passing game. That swing pass was a thing of beauty. He's so smooth and accelerates so quickly.

slow release and decision quarterback The QB cheap shot did not go un-noticed... Kirk had a great game as well, his decisions were right on. Yes Dalvin had a great game, but this was a great TEAM win!

It makes you cringe every time he slams into the line and takes a hit on his shoulders.

This team will go as far as Cook does Deep ball accuracy? ?Β Did you not see that dime in overtime? Yes that is what I am saying. If he sets his feet he is about as accurate a deep ball passer in the NFL. But he doesnβt have the quick release of the Niners QB nor the ability to make quick reads. Look at the side by side video thatβs out there comparing Sloter and him. Cousins is WAY slower than Sloter. But Cousins has really accurate deep throws with power. Itβs just how to buy the time? I donβt think his real time reads have gotten any faster. But with scheme you can help that and with Cook playing he has more time and space to make plays. Against great teams his read and release are more exposed but Cook is so great that they start to complement each other with the threat of deep passes keeping defenses out of the box and the run game keeping the defenses from rushing immediate pressure.

Yet another thing he does that opens up that sweet deep accurate ball Cousins throws. Robert Smith killed on the screens, draws and swing passes when Moss was running those unbelievable 9s. It was pick your poison for defenses.
