awesome, Bryant was one of my favorite players. I always remember the blocked kick he took back for a TD in the 76 championship game. And IIRC he picked off a Staubach pass and took it to the house in the 73 championship game and threw it at the cowboy posters in the end zone. UPdate-I googled it, he did do those things, i guess my memory is not so bad. LOL |

Our ST's were great in the 70's. How many punts did Matt Blair block? Glad to see #20 getting honored. That was a great secondary with Bryant, Jeff Wright, Nate Wright and Krause. |

I loved Blair too. I think McNiel blocked the one in the SB against the Raiders that McLanahan fumbled away on the next play. I think on this one in 76 championship it was Nate Allen who blocked the kick, he got a few blocks himself. I don't recall that we had great punt or kick return teams but i do remember in the Super bowl against Miami they screwed us on a bogus holding call on a long kick return by Gilliam which started the second half. |

Its too bad he was hurt and didn't play in Super Bowl IV. He played great in SB VIII vs Paul Warfield. Shut Lynn Swann down in SB IX and Cliff Branch in SB XI
