Brandel might be fine but this could work out well for Minnesota. Might also explain why no big desire yet to bring Risner back. Some might be on the board yet at 177

Missing out on Beebe hurts. The value in the third round for one of the best guards in the draft is unreal for the Cowboys. He will be an instant starter for them and help in the run game as well in the passing game. I also really liked Christian Haynes and another nice value in the 3rd round for the Seahawks who desperately need help on the oline.
We need to find depth and hope that one excels with a pick in rounds 4-7.
Does it make sense to target a guy like Trevor Keegan (Michigan) for some continuity at LG for JJM?
Other guys I like are:
Christian Mohogany Boston College Tanor Bortonili's Wisconsin - position flexiblity of playing G and C Mason McCormick SDSU Sedrick Van Pran-Granger Georgia - C
Keaton Bills is a monster and may be a sneaky good NFL G.

Yea, but Dorlous DT is still there. He's the guy I would target.

Yea, but Dorlous DT is still there. He's the guy I would target. Why? The guy mails it in and doesn't have the work ethic. That won't change. Don't you want guys who are going to fight every play in games, practice, and off-season?

Be some Guard prospects available in the 6th round. One of those positions where you can find a developmental future starter late. Kind of bymmed Zinter went in the 3rd because he was a 2nd round talent that slid a bit because of injury and would have been a massive get at top of round 4.

That said, I have heard that about many players coming out of college that end up being very good in the pros, so I think it can change, if that is in fact one of his negatives. Same thing was said about Everson Griffin coming out per below Weaknesses Only has average height and has likely maxed out his frame in terms of bulk. Lacks competitiveness at times and doesnβt always play with high intensity. Can be an inconsistent reactor at times and sometimes struggles to break down in space.

I really like Taner Bortonili's - Wisconsin.
But I'm thinking that their going to move down to get a later 4th and 5th. We'll see.

Here's one opinion: 4/23/24: Dorlus collected 25 tackles, five sacks and seven passes batted in 2023. He showed some interior pass-rush ability compared to previous years. Team sources say Dorlus is capable of being better, but he doesnβt play hard 100 percent of the time. His lack of effort and bad motor have them giving him second-day grades for the 2024 NFL Draft. Dorlus also was extremely light at the Senior Bowl for an interior NFL defensive lineman. He gained weight for the combine, where he ran a fast 40-yard dash.
