With Sam Darnold as QB1, I don't think we'll have to worry too much about winning too much this season

If Kwesi and KOC are wrong with the QB pick, but the Vikes have a top 5-10 defense this year. They both will be gone by the end of 2025 and Flores just might take over as head coach. Unless KOC really screws up, I donβt see him going anywhere anytime soon. I think the Wilfs really like the guy and the environment he brings. A few more QB sneaks with Powell as the pusher might change their mindπ€£, but I donβt think heβs in jeopardy for this pickβ¦ especially since he made it abundantly clear he wanted Kirk back. Kwesi yesβ¦. I donβt think KOC is tied to this pick sitting at 11 with no real control over who they get. Kwesi, not KOC put them in this spot. And donβt take that out of contextβ¦. KOC hasnβt been perfect and needs to clean some things up. But fair or not, because of how this has played out thus far, KOC will likely get more credit if he develops any QB we select than blame if they fail. Kwesi will own almost all the downside for putting us here and only limited credit if he gets it right unless the kid they draft is a star righ like Stroud last year where it looks like development isnβt as key to success.

then why in the world did he not tell the coach to stop trying to salvage the season last year once cousins went down?? He knew cousins wasn't a lock and he knew that playoff success would have been near impossible even if we did sneak in. he really should have done what most coaches do in that situation and cut bait in hopes of landing a better draft pick. even with just two more losses we are within striking distance of top 4 without giving up much at all. His decision to gain two meaningless wins will probably cost us 3 1st round picks .. that is huge!! there is no shame in recognizing where you stand and being proactive in creating a better long term future for your team. I thought he would be that kind of gm... this current situation he put us in proves he isnt. Do you really think signing a "starter" who was 1-6 in AR and had been on 6 teams in 6 years was "salvaging the season?" Dobbs pulled out 2 games, but I think everyone --including him, mind you -- were shocked, but they still played those games to WIN. Second, do you know what Brian Flores' legal case against the Dolphins' owner is about? Let me remind you: "Flores has alleged Dolphins owner Stephen Ross wanted Flores to βtankβ during the 2019 season, offering him $100,000 for every loss, so the team could improve its draft position." Do you really think Kwesi wanted to step on that land mine especially with Brian Flores in the house? DO you think he's dishonest enough to do it even if he could?
