Daniels would be my pick and yes I know he comes with risk but they all do. Such an electric athlete and such an easy throwing motion. He stays consistent and is very accurate.
Daniels slender build is a bit of a concern but he is 6'4" and I am not a fan of short QBs.
I believe he will go #2 so I am not sure the Vikings will be able to put together a package to get it done.

He's my pick as well. I think he is the best of all the QB's including Williams.

I think there is a lot to like about Danielβs, but I just think he is a poor fit for our specific scheme. Itβs my own personal take but of the top 4, I think the most successful of the 4 will have less to do with talent or where selected and more to do with what coach/scheme they match up with.
Of the teams in search of a QB, I think Denver and Minn are the two best landing spots as far as coaches and Minn by a mile as a team/org.
Washington is a bit of a wildcard as itβs a whole new ballgame top to bottomβ¦ too early to know if that org is taking a turn for the better.

I love the tape on Daniels.
Dan Orlovsky take is that Daniels is the Ideal fit for Minnesota. He says he would be a plug and play in this system. His belief is that with Jayden Daniels the Vikings could very well have a Texans (Stroud) type season.
I think Daniels would be a 'dream scenario' for KOC. That said the cost to move up would be high and I just don't know if KAM can get it done.

I can see the vikings as a great landing spot, but The Broncos have very little talent on the offensive side of the ball.

My son noticed two things about him he didn't like. First, he tends to throw most of his passes down the sidelines. Son doesn't know if that schematic or Daniels' fault. The other thing he noticed was Daniels looks for his primary receiver and if he's not open, he instantly drops his head and looks for his escape route. I haven't watch a single thing on the guy because I don't want him under any circumstances. IMO he's going to get his skinny ass killed in the NFL and he's more than likely going to the Commanders anyway. (ALso, what's with that right elbow? Looks like CP3O threw a ball joint) I have Maye and McCarthy as my 1A and 2A, and I don't care which as long as it's one of them.

And I agree with you on your 1A and 1B after Caleb Williams.

There is a lot of talk that the Commanders want McCarthy at two to change the culture of the locker room and organization and it feels like Maye is a Patriot type of QB so it could very well work out that it's Daniels by default. I think with the way QBs are protected these days I'm less prone to worry about Daniels getting hurt. Kirk's injury was non contact and it seems like that is more the norm these days.

this is all about, what if Maye is taken at #2...
Do they like Daniels enough to trade up to #3 Do they like JJM more than Daniels
Vikings are playing out every what if...
