On Tuesday, Angels manager Ron Washington confirmed that infielder Miguel Sanó had made the club’s Opening Day roster.
Sanó, who has shed 58 pounds since he last played in the Majors in ’22 and hit three Cactus League homers as a non-roster invitee,
earned favor with Washington on the strength of a standout spring.
Maybe he will make the most of this chance but I'm betting he blows it somehow.

Good for Sano to lose weight and make a comeback, but I still sense a Golden Sombrero in his future.

Sano has some holes in his swing but he is at his best when he is controlling the strikezone and getting plenty of walks.
Be cool if he was able to find it again and became a David Ortiz for someone.
