If the Dolphins don't think he's worth keeping...why would we want him?

The trade package would likely revolve around the Vikingsβ pair of first-round picks with a potential Day 2 or Day 3 pick to sweeten the deal. Booze AND hard drugs! I wouldn't give a 3rd for Tua, no way the Dolphins are going to want to pay him the kind of money he will want and will probably be released at some point. I would take any of the top 6 QBs in this draft over him.

Tua had a good year and will have a long career provided his health holds up, but has limits to his game that will prevent him from ever being elite. So for me that is a hard no.

Tua is about 1 bad oline from being a CTE patient.
I'm certainly not a fan of a move like this.

Keeping JJ happy with the QB of his choice is a stupid idea. I have no problem with the Vikings signing JJ to a contract equal to his market value. None. If it's 36 mil a year, that's totally fine with me. I don't get the revenue, manage the cap, or sign the checks. That said, I've heard very little from JJ other than stating he would prefer Cousins remain here. I think that was nothing more than JJ respecting the QB he's always played with here, and the media blowing it all out of proportion. I DO draw the line if he really DOES think he has the right to dictate the QB he plays with. He's a WR, period. The very best any WR can be in the NFL is a spear carrier for the always anointed King, the QB. It has always been that way in the NFL and it always will be. JJ has his 5th year option and two possible franchise years if the Vikings choose to exercise them. He will not get traded unless the Vikings prefer to trade him, and I have never heard of a rookie contract with a no trade clause so he has no leverage there either.

If the Dolphins don't think he's worth keeping...why would we want him? Apparently after hearing the entire Wilson from the Hawks to the Broncos fiasco anything stupid will fly when you need something to get printed. Evidently he was right since this absolute bullshit got the light of day too.
