We will get JJ signed. Doing so is going to give us more cap space so I could see it happening soon.

I just can't see paying any WR that kind of money. No matter how good they are the potential impact vs % of cap space scale cannot balance out.
EDIT; I mean the money JJ is going to want/get. Not what Jeudy got.

Wow. Not even a 1000 yard season (he's come close). CLE may be the most inept and ridiculous franchise in the league.

You think signing him to a $30+ average yearly salary is going to lower that by any significant amount? With a signing bonus (and guarantees and void years if applicable) you could get down in the $10-$15 range pretty easily for 2024. Ridley's 4yr/$92 deal has a $10 first year cap hit and it could have been as low as 7 with a voided 5th year and reduced first year salary. Even if you doubled total dollars while keeping the base salary low in the first year, the cap hit could be well under $19.7.

Jeffersons extension could easily lower his cap hit by 10-12M. I think you would use Bonus money to make it happen.
Vikeroo can explain it better than I can. Hope he takes the time if he sees this.
