Guy was a class act. He was dedicated, student of the game, worked relentlessly to get better, he did get better every year, he was phenomenal in the community, he's an upstanding person...shame on people. The guy gave everything he had to this organization, took a beating, was never a problem and never complained. I think Fiorio was correct when he said the Kwesi low balled him and dared him to leave and he did. While he had a great relationship with KOC and his teammates, why would anyone do a deal that is one sided. Kirk wanted an offer that committed to him being here if he resigned and appears to have been willing to take less to do so, but Kwesi wouldn't commit beyond a year. That's telling Kirk "we don't really want you, but we don't have anyone lined up to replace you, so we want you to take less than you are worth so we can draft a QB to replace you the following year. Why would anyone stay where they aren't wanted if they are talented and good at what they do?
And I fully understand why maybe Kwesi didn't want to guar. a longer window, but that doesn't mean he's greed and it doesn't make Kirk a bad guy.
I wish him well and appreciate all he did for the team and community!

I've already forgotten about him. He took the money train to Atlanta You wouldn't have? I sure as hell would have. He got a better JOB OFFER, for God's sake! YOU wouldn't move one to another job for more money? B. S.Β There's no loyalty in the NFL anymore, if there ever was much. Its a harsh business. NFL teams will dump you in the blink of an eye. Turn around is fair play. I don't blame players for getting the dollars from someone else. I've passed on jobs for more money. Money is great, but its not everything.

No, money isn't everything but it's far ahead of whatever is in second place.
