Buxton was a waste as a DH last season. Replacement centerfielder Michael A. Taylor had a higher WAR, more hits, more home runs, more RBI’s and a higher batting average than Buxton. Need Buxton to play in the field to earn his $15 million. Right now, I’m guessing that Carlos Santana is being slated as the designated hitter.

In the Sat game with the Yankees Buxton 3 for 3 with 1 HR and 2 triples, 3 runs scored and 4 RBIs. Plus, he played CF.

I’ll be amazed if Buxton makes it through the entire season without going on the disabled list.

I'm going to hope for the best if there's anybody that's due a little bit of luck regarding his health its Buxton. The Twins needs all their stars to shine if they're going to have any chance at a World Series. |
