Vikings sign Jefferson and Hunter to long term deals. Hunter is something like 3 years for $60 million. It is a bit backloaded. Jefferson is 5 years for big money. They try to keep it smooth over the years, but 2024 has less of a cap hit.

They agree to add Cousins on a two-year deal averaging $25 million per year. I have a hunch that would all fit. The cap space right now for 2024 is listed as $36 million. THere is some borrowing against the future. But that is not bad.
Osborn leaves as a free agent. Harrison Smith is cut. Alexander Mattison is cut. They may sign a veteran RB. Mattison won't be a starter, so his price is too high for that. I'm not sure what happens with Davenport. He is signed, but if he can't play then cutting him makes sense.
Draft: 1. Jared Verse, DE 2. Bo Nix, QB. I was thinking Penix before the national championship game, but he didn't look good in that game.
Later, we need depth at RB, CB, WR, and LB.

Big changes. Kirk is gone, Hunter is gone, Jefferson is not signed, but the defense has been bolstered. The Vikes have already traded up for #23 overall pick. They are preparing the run game. They need a starting OG, a CB, NT, DE, QB and maybe WR3.
Trade 11, 23, and next year's 1 for the #3 pick. Why would New England do this? Young coach in first year, not ready to pull the trigger on a QB when he has such a horrible team. They would ruin a good rookie QB.
1. Drake Maye. I think Bears pick Caleb Williams. I think the vikes wait to see what the Commanders do. Kingsbury is the new OC. He prefers Jayden Daniels. Vikes strategy is go to three to get Drake Maye, or go to 4 or 5 to get McCarthy. Harbaugh might do something crazy and trade Herbert to the Giants for the #6 pick plus other picks. Then pick JJ at #5 and Nabers at #6. So, the vikes have to see what happens at #2 before making a trade.
108. McKinnley Jackson DT 129. Khyree Jackson, CB 157. Jalyx Hunt, DE 167. Javion Cohen, OG 177. Isaac Guerendo, RB 230. Logan Lee, DT 232. Joshua Cephus, WR
