I hope in the future it will.....Ive seen enough of Mullens and Dobbs... This is perfect example of hitting on a rookie pay scale franchise QB. If Purdy was making 40M, you can bet every star on the team would be asked to restructure and as good as McCaffrey is, his 18 million would asked to be renegotiated. But...they dont have to !!! It's the NFL blueprint that the Vikings should follow... KC, Buffalo, Bengals, Niners, Dolphins are or came close to SB contenders using the blueprint. Whose not? Vikings, Broncos, Cards, Titans, Giants, Jets all paying QBs north of 40M If only the Vikings could be in that position, pay their stars and stock the team with a few top tier FAs to help the young QB on a 1 million dollar salary..and complete this silly competitive rebuild quickly and sooner Next year we can...If Cousins moves on or plays under a very team friendly contract...and he wont.. Itβs easy guys. Just find a top 10 QB in the world whoβs as of yet undiscovered and therefore wonβt cost anything Maybe if we let him blow the big horn before the games he will take less, that covers the home games.

Just draft the right pick every round. IMO more important than how high. find the John Randles, the Kurt Warners out there, guys like Mr irrelevant Purdy 49ers..It looks like the Pace out of Cincinnati is that type of a player. Theilen went drafted.. They are out there. I understand the trick is to find or identify these players. you can have high draft picks and do the opposite. Like Ryan Leaf, Mandarich Ibelieve out of Oklahoma.all this talk of how great he is and didnβt amount to a hill of beans.. anyone recall Demetrius Underwood. Great choice. Waist inderectly you could have seven picks and have one the best drafts ever The Steelers 74 draft Round 1 Lynn Swann Round 2 Jack Lambert Round 4 John Stallworth Round 5. Mike webster undrsfted Donnie Shell All went on to the HOF. The question is how do you find those football super studs. the problem is there is no way to measure heart. Top prospects that have every intangible and measurables flop every draft and yet undrafted players who are overlooked make nfl rosters and many have gone on to HOF careers. You just can't measure heart. You are absolutely right. Imagine the money an individual could make if they could figure that one out. It doesnβt take away the point of picking the right player each round you could nail the draft

Or they can do like all the other successful teams do. Β Go up and get one and pay the price for doing so.. Yes because itβs always successful moving up to pick a QB, just like when the hero niners did that with Purdyβ¦.wait, Trey lance. lol. No they got lucky Have a nice case of Ponderitis you have. So let's pay Cousins and hamper the entire team
