I’m just hoping that Hall makes it through the entire game without getting injured. Attachment Deleted

I think most people’s excitement about Hall (including mine) is just that Dobbs & Mullens offer 0% upside. Hall very well will be a dud and have no future in the NFL, but worst case, he chalks up 2 Ls, and turns the ball over 3 or more times in each game, in which case we still had nothing to lose by starting him

Even worse though -- Hall plays like ass, the Vikes somehow manage to get two Ws anyway, and still miss the playoffs... And no, I'm not a "tank" fan, but it would suck to drop draft position if we don't make the postseason.

IMO more important than how high. find the John Randles, the Kurt Warners out there, guys like Mr irrelevant Purdy 49ers..It looks like the Pace out of Cincinnati is that type of a player. Theilen went drafted.. They are out there. I understand the trick is to find or identify these players. you can have high draft picks and do the opposite. Like Ryan Leaf, Mandarich Ibelieve out of Oklahoma.all this talk of how great he is and didn’t amount to a hill of beans.. anyone recall Demetrius Underwood. Great choice. Waist inderectly you could have seven picks and have one the best drafts ever The Steelers 74 draft Round 1 Lynn Swann Round 2 Jack Lambert Round 4 John Stallworth Round 5. Mike webster undrsfted Donnie Shell All went on to the HOF. The question is how do you find those football super studs.

Top prospects that have every intangible and measurables flop every draft and yet undrafted players who are overlooked make nfl rosters and many have gone on to HOF careers. You just can't measure heart.

This is perfect example of hitting on a rookie pay scale franchise QB. If Purdy was making 40M, you can bet every star on the team would be asked to restructure and as good as McCaffrey is, his 18 million would asked to be renegotiated. But...they dont have to !!! It's the NFL blueprint that the Vikings should follow... KC, Buffalo, Bengals, Niners, Dolphins are or came close to SB contenders using the blueprint. Whose not? Vikings, Broncos, Cards, Titans, Giants, Jets all paying QBs north of 40M If only the Vikings could be in that position, pay their stars and stock the team with a few top tier FAs to help the young QB on a 1 million dollar salary..and complete this silly competitive rebuild quickly and sooner Next year we can...If Cousins moves on or plays under a very team friendly contract...and he wont..

It’s easy guys. Just find a top 10 QB in the world who’s as of yet undiscovered and therefore won’t cost anything

Go up and get one and pay the price for doing so..

No they got lucky

It's all luck. Less that 50% of 1st round QBs work out. But you have to try....They are in perfect position to do so..Or we can pay Cousins and JJ and live on the Dean Lowrys when all aspects of this roster could be helped using FA money saved from a 36 year old QB coming off injury that will again want the house..

I agree the money to keep cousins should be spent across multiple players might get lucky on one or two. Cousins is the best QB known quantity on the table for us but he’s old and he’s coming off an injury. And with the poor line play a mobile quarterback, can help compensate for that Cousins is not mobile. I hope we could get something in a trade for him but sadly I have a feeling they just won’t sign him and he’ll walk off and we won’t get anything for him. Maybe a compensatory pic?
