Well, the way the offense has played the last couple games has led me to increase my alcohol intake too.

Is he really needed on game day since KOC calls the plays?

Wasn't like they had much work to do on the game plan so not surprised he was out drinking, how much work is there to do to draw up 2 runs up the middle and then a screen pass on 3rd down and then punt.

#Vikings OC Wes Phillips has been suspended 3 weeks without pay, starting today, stemming from his December arrest for DUI. Phillips pleaded guilty to careless driving in February.
He'll miss the first week of Minnesota's offseason workout program.

Good job making the punishment as lenient as possible.

Good job making the punishment as lenient as possible. DUI laws in this nation are a joke. I have seen 1st time offenders get nailed to the wall for simply having the key in the ignition (not driving or the car running). I have also seen serial drunks with multiple offenses get nothing more than a slap on the wrist. What boils my blood is habitual people that eventually end up killing someone (usually have had multiple chances and simply either cannot help themselves or do not care to). With Wes's case I guess it is different then the "normal" joe, because he works in the entertainment industry. But seriously would you know him from the average joe on the street? How many of us would get a 3 week suspension from our jobs for a infraction of this type?
