Liked it for the most part. Defense looked Shakey, bad tackling.

I love the fact we used play action passes. Last year we would have run the ball straight up the middle and never rolled out Cousins which is his strong point. I'm excited for the offense this year.

Offensive play calling was great through all four quarters. So good to see the mix and execution after suffering through last season.

"The Vikings ran play action on 39% of drop backs last night (46% outside of the 2-minute drill). For comparison, last year the Rams led the league calling play action on 36% of drop backs."

I have been out of loop, is Stef or Kubiak calling the plays? It was noticeably better. Plus it would appear, albeit in a limited sample, that KC has been taught some better decision making skills. Also, the draws, etc were well timed. Pls keep it up.

I love the idea of Play Action with this team.... key however is to actually be a threat running the ball. Hopefully we've patched together a decent line that can stay away from injuries.

When you look at Box Scores in general around the NFL, most teams every year barely make any attempts running the ball the first 3 games when some starters play. The last game with all backups, is different. That being said, vs. Saints, the Purple really did go with run more than most, and it was refreshing to see all the dressed RBs and FBs in action. It does seem, in this brief spurt, that running the ball more out of under-center plays will be more common - .
