Never seems to be a couple big hits whenever Gray is pitching. Itβs almost always three runs or less.

Lewis strikes out on a ball with the bases loaded. Damn.
The bases loaded on 3 walks yet Lewis swinging at balls way outside the strike zone.

Trying to hit a grand slam. No doubt hopefully he learns he cannot always be the hero and taking a walk is just as important sometimes. Astros bringing out their big BP guns now the Twins blew their chances to come back.

Even though the Astros scored 9 runs, the entire regular season showed that once a team scores 3 runs in a game where Gray is starting, then he will either take the loss or get a no-decision. The extra runs that Houston scored were meaningless. The game was basically over after the first inning at 4-0. Twins only had three hits.

Twins need to win Game 4 so they can get another chance at Verlander.

Ryan officially starting for Twins tomorrow on Wednesday, no Astro starter yet listed. JosΓ© Urquidy. Should be beatable has a 5.29 ERA in 63 innings pitched. Twins got be more selective in their at bats. Drop Lewis lower in the lineup. Give the veteran Vasquez the start behind the plate.

Interesting that the AL East had three teams make the playoffs: Orioles, Rays and Blue Jays. All three of them got eliminated without winning a game, going 0-7.

Interesting that the AL East had three teams make the playoffs: Orioles, Rays and Blue Jays. All three of them got eliminated without winning a game, going 0-7. The Rangers accounted for 5 of those Victories with 4 of them on the road. Now they have 4 days rest until Sunday to set up their starting pitching for the best of 7 game ALCS series. Should be a huge advantage especially if the Twins force a game 5.

Lewis at third base again so Polanco can play second base and Julien can be the DH. Solano at first base over Kirilloff. Castro in left field over Wallner. Need to score some early runs and jump out to a lead for Ryan. Iβm concerned about Ryan giving up home runs.

Ryan with a quick 1-2-3 first inning, despite no strikeouts. Then, Julien gets doubled up off second base on a Polanco line out to shortstop after leading off with a double, and it costs the Twins an extra run when Lewis follows with a solo home run.
