Cousins threw a 50/50 ball to Addison and Blackmon nearly picked off. The two USC rookies were both wrestling for possession as they came down out of bounds.
Harrison Smith just picked off Nick Mullens and took it to the house. He’s still got it.
New signee Bobby Evans has been working in as a second-team right guard.
Thayer Thomas has made some nice catches in practice while also practicing with the punt returners during special teams.
UDFA Ivan Pace Jr. spent another day with the 2s.
Tougher day for the passing game with windy conditions. Khyiris Tonga had a really nice pass deflection of Kirk Cousins, and Harrison Smith intercepted Nick Mullens.
We didn't see too many personnel changes on either side of the ball with the starting groups. Of note, James Lynch seemed to get a little more run with the 1s.
With the 2s we saw glimpses of Lucky Jackson, Theo Jackson, TJ Smith and Curtis Weaver, but only for a few reps.
Notably, Jalen Nailor was absent after putting in a good day yesterday. No other changes to the attendance. Brian O'Neill still rehabbing.
Justin Jefferson on mentoring Jordan Addison:
