I think Mike White will have a good day. Not sure how they will fare in the red zone, but the Jets are probably going to move the ball very easily in the midfield, and their score is going to be closer to what they did against the Bears last week than to their other games before Mike White.
Conversely I think the Vikings may have a tough time with pressures and a stout Jets defense. That may lead Cousins to focus on JJ as his reliable clutch receiver, especially in 3 and long situations. Not sure that will work as well against the Jets as against many other teams. I expect the Vikings will struggle in this game and be playing from behind for parts of it, in our typical pattern of faltering drives in the mid-game.
I think the outcome of the game will again hinge on how we play in the fourth quarter. If we get some big plays and perhaps a couple good breaks late in the fourth, we can certainly win this game, but I think the odds of doing so are probably very close to 50-50.
I'll say the Vikings win it 30-27 on an end of game Greg Joseph FG that has all of us fans in cardiac arrest wondering if it will be good.
