We had 20 players participate in the Week 9 Predict the Score Contest. Congratulations to VikeNation101, whose guess of 23-16 Vikings was the closest to the actual final score of 20-17 Vikings, off by only 4 points. You can click on the link below to see all of the results from the Predict the Score Contest.

The Vikings (7-1) travel to Orchard Park NY this Sunday to take on the Buffalo Bills (6-2). Kickoff is scheduled for Noon CST and the game will be carried on Fox. Please reply to this thread with your guess of the final score by kickoff.
The Vikings pulled another victory from the jaws of defeat against the Commanders in Week 9. After scoring a touchdown on their opening drive, the Vikings offense seemed to go dormant, a reoccurring theme of this season. The Commanders were helped by an uncalled Pass Interference call against an official that lead to a touchdown, but nevertheless the Vikings found themselves down by two scores in the 4th Quarter. The win is nice, but the Vikings just haven't been able to play a strong, consistent game on either side of the ball for 60 minutes. The Vikings are entering a four game stretch where their opponents are averaging a win percentage of 67.6%. Three of those four games are at home so that bodes well for the Vikings, but they need to find their groove if they are going to show they deserve to be in the discussion as one of the top teams in the NFC.
The Bills may be without their star Quarterback Josh Allen for Sunday's game. Allen's arm was hit as he was trying to throw a deep pass at the end of their Week 9 loss to the NY Jets. The Bills suspect he has a UCL injury in his throwing elbow and possible nerve damage. If Allen can't go on Sunday, the Vikings will be going against a familiar face, Case Keenum. Case Keenum can play quarterback, but lets be honest, he is no Josh Allen. The Vikings would catch a huge break is Allen is unable to play, but this game would still be tough as Buffalo has a strong, aggressive defense and they still have playmakers on offense.
If Josh Allen were playing, I say Bills win by 7-10 points. If Allen has to sit, I'm thinking the game would be close to a pick-em. I'm still not convinced this Vikings team can sustain enough good play on both sides of the ball to stay ahead of a top tier team on the road. I hope they start to convince me this Sunday.
Vikings 24
Bills 27
