He can do something that neither Mannion nor Mond can - start and win a game. If Kirk goes down for a spell he might hopefully go .500 in whatever games he has to play, as long as it's not too many. Any serious Kirk injury and the season is toast no matter who is backup. As I see it he's qb2 and Mond goes to the PS. And the sweetest words ever heard are... Mannion is gone! The only issue with that is our current starting QB is a .500 qb!

You realize KOC was his QB coach before, right? Joe Burrow took Bengals to the SB with a worse OL in his 2nd year. Stop with the excuses. 34 year old QB with a new HC he has worked with before there are no excuses. He had a SB caliber team in 2018 and did not get the job done. Tired of this stuff.

If they focus on drafting AR of Gainesville in next years draft at QB, I'll be on-board with them and give them an A.

Check back in 3 years.
They need to get rid of KC and find a replacement. Construct a team without him and then we can grade them.

Key words- draft most over rated event Whatβs the matter? Did the NFL draft pork your girlfriend? Maybe your wife? Weβve all heard your draft derangement syndrome rant repeatedly. Get help. I think people who wring their hands over nfl draft picks from a pool of amateurs who more often than not never see an NFL roster need help.

Kids just getting ready to start their school year, get their grades, then go to school and do the work.... yeah, that makes sense, doesn't it?

I'll hold my opinion on them until January. It's a team in transition, with lot's of work to do, to hopefully win the division. If the Vikings can finish above .500, I would consider that a good start.

No way to grade KOC right now, he looks promising, but we will not know until we start playing games. I think Kwesi was a political hire and the wrong one to make, he does not have the experience to run a NFL team and it has painfully showed so far.

Always seems a bit premature to grade before game 1.

Β He's had some stumbles for sure, but also some fairly shrewd moves as well. Which, honestly, could be said of just about any GM we could care to breakdown. But Kwesi is young enough, humble enough, and (I suspect) bright enough to learn the job and not continually and stubbornly repeat the same mistakes. I think in 2ish years we are going to have a very healthy and competitive roster that will please most of us. Not guaranteeing Superbowl or anything, but we'll probably be at least a strong contender and fairly thankful of the direction we took. Just my gut feeling.

He didnβt follow your draft βbig boardβ closely enough and he didnβt sign Tretter. Am I close? His biggest stumble so far is waiving a proven NFL player in Watts to replace him with Blacklock who has proven not much so far and the team that drafted him gave up for a song 2 years after a high 2nd round pick. They saved less the 1.2 M on the switch and while that covered what Reagor will make vs ISM to balance the books you have to find better answers then getting rid of good football players over 1 M dollars if you are all in it to win. First player and roster issue we have seen KOC upset over and you almost never hear a GM admit he might have made a mistake.

CMP ATT CMP% YDS AVG TD INT LNG RTG 17 24 70.8 168 7.0 0 0 23 129.6 Yep, you are correct. That 129 Rating is just no good. If Cousins goes away in 2024 we've always got Mullens.
