This is a joke right? Yes, Zim is done, he won't be fired but to think he is the worst? Ha! that is dilusional. Yes he will be replaced, his D is lacking and his sctick has gotten stale, but it will happen in the offseason. That is how the Wilf's handle their business. They may have Rick doing the work now putting a short list together but Zim will end the season at the helm. Did they not fire tice mid season? No... Childress was the one the fired midseason. Tice they fired after final game with tears in their eyes.

I have been critical of Zimmer, altho there are worse coaches. But today when he went 0 for 3 on 2 pt conversions and the last drive defense was a masterpiece of unforgivable.
I said out loud, I should not have watched...this was a total waste of my time. Never have I said that.

But in this case, what's worse was watching another game of Zimmer's repeated incompetence and utter stupidity. Smh.

5 games left, and I can see the Vikings winning 2 of them ......maybe.
Will Zimmers fate be settled on black Monday, or will the Wilfs make us suffer through the rest of Zimmers contract?

They ran up to him at his locker and breathlessly announced "you're fired!" Didn't even give him the dignity of come to the office let's discuss. It's why he hates them.

I said it was over then. He has had medical issues, I feel badly for him re the eye and whatever makes him shake. Honestly, it is questionable whether Wilf did him more harm by hanging on.

Belicheck in very similar situation Monday night ( weather debatable) but he blitzed on last play caused pressure which lead to an errant throw and pass breakup. Zim drops everyone and covers back of end zone not the goalline. Very disappointed he was not fired today.

Bills had open receivers all over the place, but on that play forced Allen to go to wrong guy as he had an open guy for TD. Play before pressure forced Allen to not see Diggs open in middle of the field.

The eye test is all you need to make a decision on Zim.
The constant confusion on offense and puzzling inconsistencies.
The ineptitude on defense for over 2 years running despite drafting and signing a boatload of players have made little difference for a bottom of the league ranking.
His formula is not working and hasnβt for years.

What? I challenge you right here and now. Name one person on this earth that couldn't do better? Anyone on this board. Seriously, as bad as Zimmer is, no one here knows nearly as much as we think we do, and none of us have had the pressure of making in-game decisions. Agreed, but we don't have to be coaches to know a bad one. We've certainly had enough experience with them. It says something about Viking fans when the coach they revere as the best we've ever had went 0-4 in SBs, and the last one of those was almost half a century ago. We've endured 3 owners, 3 stadiums (4 counting two years at the U,) 9 HCs, an entire battalion of assistant coaches, several of whom have gone elsewhere as HCs to win a SB, and altogether too many seasons of high hope followed by completely idiotic endings such as Favre's INT, Poole's INT in the EZ, 41-donut, Pearson's push off, and a dozen others. I remember the Wilf's first PC after buying the team. They promised to "bring a championship to MN." It's been 16 years since that promise, and we're no closer today (In fact much farther away!) than we were that day when Red McComb's took is stupid "Purple Prahd!" back to Texas. It's time the Wilfs shoot, shit, or get off the pot. I give you credit for one thing. You tried with Zim and Rick, we hoped, but they crapped the bed. We've stayed fans through those 60 years because we've always had hope. There is no hope with this bunch.
