I cant remember how long Thielen was out when he pulled his hamstring in the end zone? I don't remember the end zone thing, but in 2019 he pulled a hammy early in one game, sat out a game, tried to come back against KC, lasted only a few minutes, and ended up then missing 4 more games. Cook was pretty much the same in 2018. Pulled a hammy in week two, missed one game, aggravated it in week 4, then missed 4 more games. The bottom line seems to be that it's really easy to try to come back too soon, which just makes things worse in the end.

I cant remember how long Thielen was out when he pulled his hamstring in the end zone? He pulled it in the Detroit game at exactly the halfway point in the 2019 season. He had a grand total of 3 receptions the entire rest of that regular season. however on a bright note, he had 12 receptions in 2 playoff games. In a nutshell, he pulled it on October 20th and didn't start catching passes until Jan 5. So about a 2-1/2 month ordeal.

Yeah, it was the Detroit game where he skidded into the padded backing of the wall behind the end zone, and popped his hamstring. He was out quite awhile. I imagine that Peterson could be out for some time.

Peterson said online today that this is the most pain he has ever had to deal with and could barely get to sleep. He mentioned something about not being able to bend over to his knee from the pain in his hamstring.
I think itβs optimistic that he will return in a month. I canβt imagine a 33 year old cornerback recovering enough to backpedal at full speed and cover the fastest players in the NFL in such a short time.

That sounds like we'll be absolutely lucky to see him on the field before Thanksgiving.
