Goldman family saying theyβre still interested in pursuing whatever they can from his estate, which I think puts a stain on them tbh. It made absolute perfect sense that they attempt to squeeze every last cent from his name until the day he dies and make his life as absolutely miserable as they possibly could throughout his remaining lifeβ¦but now that heβs dead, who are they punishing now? Theyβre going to take away estate value from his kids who are innocent?

$3M was his approx net worth that he left behind.
His social security payment, NFL pension & screen writers pensions were protected and couldn't be
garnished by his creditors is apparently why he was able to accumulate some wealth at the end.

If the kids had any decency, they would give the remains of the estate to the Goldmans or charity. Who would want the blood money of a murderer who butchered two people and got away with because of 12 morons on an LA jury.

Who would want the blood money of a murderer who butchered two people and got away with because of 12 morons on an LA jury. 1. The 4 kids will inherit the estate. But as basically secured debtor's the Goldmans and Browns will be on equal basis as any other debtor (but may be limited to assets in certain states). Yes it is no where near the wrongful death settlement but as they say you can't squeeze blood from a turnip. 2. How is any of it blood money, his life essentially ended when he was accused and then acquitted. The laws that protected his pension and SS are the same for you and I. The only blood money was when Goldmans won control of the book rights which they cashed in on a renamed book and control of all movie rights. 3. Regardless of what we believe he was acquitted (yes I believe he did it). Just as innocent people spend years in jail, guilty people sometimes go free. But on the average the system works. Civil court on the other hand is extremely wild and basically uncontrolled. In this case they awarded $30,000,000 in wrongful death, even at his paramount of assets O.J. was never worth that. The world would have been a much better place without O.J. just prior and certainly post this tragedy, it would have also been better without Robert Kardashian, Johnnie Cochran, Alan Dershowitz and F. Lee Bailey.

That said, I wouldn't say that the world would have been a better place without his lawyers. Every criminal defendent deserves the best defense possible. OJ's lawyers were providing thst defense. That's the way the system works. We can't throw the whole system out because we disagree with the result of one case.

I am 95% sure he did it. ( Is that enough to put him in jail? I will leave that up to you.) But the prosecution team did a very poor job at the trial that's why he got off. Would the world be a better place without them?

Yeah I do not hold lawyers in high esteem:
F. Lee Bailey: was disbarred in 2000, died in 2021 (Patty Hearst was famous loss for him)
Shapiro: founded LegalZoom and ShoeDazzle (with Kim Kardashian) no longer practices, wrote a children's book
Cochran: post this case expanded his legal empire to 15 states and became more of a TV personality (Represented Michael Jackson in a molestation case, Tupac on Weapons charges) died of brain cancer
Kardashian: reactivated his legal license for defense of OJ, read OJ's suicide note to the world, had a change of heart about OJ innocence. Died of esophageal cancer.
Dershowitz: taught at Harvard, advised (nope), Julian Assange and Harvey Weinstein (got Claus von Bulow acquitted)
Scheck and Neufeld: may have made the greatest contribution to the legal process as a whole with their pioneering of DNA evidence
Uelmen: may have the second largest contribution. currently a criminal law professor at the Santa Clara University School of Law (Dean from 1986 to 1994) Continuing his career in law, he served as defense counsel in the trials of Daniel Ellsberg and Christian Brando. In 2006, Uelmen was appointed Executive Director for the California Commission on the Fair Administration of Justice
Blasier: Defended OJ in the civil case, US v. Ted Kaczynski, People v. Phil Spector, and Schmierer v. Free Love Ministries.
Douglas: went on to represent Michael Jackson, actors Jamie Foxx and Queen Latifah, and former NFL safety Darren Sharper.
Holley: Represented many celebrities became a full partner in Kinsella Weitzman Iser Kump Holley LLP, produced the show Reasonable Doubt
Marcia Clark: quit the DA's office quit practicing law, wrote a book about the incident and now writes crime novels
Darden: also quit the DA's office surprisingly became a defense lawyer, ran for Judge
Gil Garcetti: The DA was re-elected in 96 but lost in 2000, has a pretty good TV portfolio
Lance Ito: sat on the same bench until he retired in 2015, never gave an interview or public talked about the case. (set the precedent for TV coverage in the courtroom)
