Vikings have no 2nd or 3rd round pick. Correct?
Will they go all in on trading up for a QB, or trade down for more draft capital?

Yes, the Vikings don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick. They have 7 day three picks. π

IMO they got to 11 and 23 for the flexibility of two scenarios.
Move up for a QB. or Take players at 11 and23 that can immediately help.
I doubt we are moving back.

It almost sounds to me; that teams sitting from 1-5 are licking their chops to fleece the Vikings, or any other team in the hunt for a QB. I would sit at # 11 and take whomever falls to us; being Nix or Penix and grab one of them, and then take a CB or OLmen at #23.
There's going to be a top dude sitting there at #23 no matter what.
To sell the farm going up is stupid in my books. Nix and Penix now have played two full years without any major injuries. With all the rule changes in the NFL on QB's; it may benefit both of those two QB's anyway. I would be very happy with either one of them, or figure Darnold; as our future? And even if Darnold worked out; what has one lost by having Nix's or Penix there? Imo nothing; in fact we could very well be sitting at a high end situation by having a possible future QB to come in, in case something happened to Darmold or visa versa. At least one could get a high end guy at #23 or trade and get a lower 1st, and end up with a second rounder. This still leaves one with possibly two high end players and a QB.

Ive read many of the predictions by the sports analyst talking heads, that the Vikings will trade with Patriots, Cardinals, or Chargers, to try and get Drake Maye, or McCarthy. I know its the silly season full of click bait articles that make for a good storyline. Im all in on acquiring a potential QB for the future, but the Vikes won't be drafting on day 2. I guess they'll have to use those two #1's wisely

If we can't get the QB we want, we should stay at 11 and 23. If we got a stud for each side of the ball n the 1st I'd be happy.

I have a hard time believing that KAM traded for that second first without plans of moving up into the top 5. At the end of the day, the cost may be too high and they decide to sit at 11 and 23 and take Penix or Nix. What we don't know is how they rank those two guys vs. Maye or JJM. Is the drop off worth possibly trading 3 #1's to get up for Maye or JJM. Or do they rank those 4 guys close enough that the cost of the move isn't worth it. But if the Vikings don't want to spend the capital to move up then they run the risk of none of the guys they like being there at 11. Caleb, Daniels and Maye could go top 3. The Giants could take JJM and then the Broncos trade up with Atlanta and grab Nix. We could be left with Penix or Nix at 11 and we don't like the guy that's left.

I think the Vikings are going to package both first round picks to move up if they can find a trade partner. I also think the reason the Vikings signed so many free agents this year is because they know they won't have a lot of higher draft picks to fill out the roster.

My belief is the Vikings Plan 1 will be to try to move up with Washington to select Jayden Daniels. IMO they have been aggresive in FA and this will continue.
The initial offer will be #11, #23 and 2025 1st for pick #2.
That probably will not be enought to get Washington to move but should be close in value. After that we may be trying to figure out how to convince them.

They over draft Nix or Penix at 11 I will be upset. Nix problem was not injury before Oregon he just sucked at Auburn.

My guess is if it is Nix the fan base will be screaming game day on all his throws behind the line of scrimmage and the sticks. Seems like he is very comfortable in that kind of offense.

If you listen to the media they seem to think the Vikings are after JJM. Personally I think that is a smoke screen and the real target is Drake Maye.

KOC is doing a multiple day thing with JJM and our QB coach is leading the workout for Maye (personal relationship there). McCown couldn't link up with Daniels on a personal meet up due to conflicts with the Maye workout. All 3 are in play. I think there is a gravitational pull personality wise between JJM and KOC they are wired similarly I believe. McCown and Maye have a connection. Daniels is talented.

If they canβt trade up theyβre taking a DT and cb. Nix isnβt a system fit and no one in the NFL is taking Penix before round 3 with his 2 torn ACLβs and 2 shoulder surgeries.

They want Daniels but know he might not be within reach. It will look like Maye and McCarthy and they may try to mislead, but they want Daniels. See I can speculate as good as anyone. Pretty positive thought that they want Jayden. Problem is Washington likely also wants him.
