Eisen said he heard Vikings may want Lance.
You would think after Reagor, Blacklock, and Davenport that they would get out of this mind set of turning trash into treasure.

Not buying your premiss Davenport is an established starter Reagor is going to continue to be in the NFL for a number of years. He could of helped the Vikings last year Blacklock busted - it didn't cost that much. Now Lance is genuine talent. If he'd been at a LSU/Oregon/Washington/USC/N.Carolina/Michigan over the last two years......then he'd be one of top prospects again , if not the no.1 prospect.

Trey Lance is younger than Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr.

We would have traded for him last season when he was available.
Eisen also has never broke news before so don't know why he would now.

Lance is young and has the tools, key here is how he mentally develops which so far the best that can be said is an incomplete. The 49ers went with the hot hand in Purdy who was cheaper and probably developmentally ahead of Lance (due to injury). If he doesn't cost a arm and leg there is no harm in bringing him in.

If Lance was any good the Cowboys would move on from Dak and his huge contract issues and roll with Trey.

Lance is an imaginary NFL caliber qb who gets involved in imaginary trades that solve team problems in someone's imagination.

The Cowboys are going to want to get some return on their investment

We would have traded for him last season when he was available. In hindsight they maybe should of ...but I don't think they wanted to upset apple cart at that time. They had three qb's at that point. They'd traded for Mullens the previous year and I assume they didn't want to expose Hall on waivers
